Serino Cigar Co., known for its Serino Royale and Serino Wayfarer cigar lines, is preparing to ship its latest cigar brand, called Taíno, nationwide in the fall of 2018.
The new cigar pays tribute to the indigenous peoples of the Caribbean, known as the Taínos. The brand debuted at the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers trade show and will begin shipping to retailers next month.
The blend is a composition of Ecuadoran Habano cover leaf over a Corojo ’99 binder from Condega, Nicaragua and filler tobaccos from three regions in Nicaragua: Estelí, Ometepe and Jalapa.
The Taino is a “mild but still very flavorful” cigar,
Taíno comes in three sizes:
Robusto, 5 inches by 50 ring gauge
Corona Gorda, 6 by 46
Toro, 6 by 52.
